North Umpqua Bible Fellowship

We believe that God offers eternal life for all who would trust in His Son, Jesus Christ; that we are saved by grace through faith, and not by anything we do. Salvation is a free gift which we receive when we believe.

In view of this great outpouring of God's mercy and grace, it seems a reasonable act of worship to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, not out of obligation or necessity, but out of gratitude. Therefore, we are a church on a mission.

There are many lost and hurting people in our community. By meeting and befriending these people, we hope to bear witness to a life of true joy in relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Real relationship reveals needs which God often meets through the church, which He called the body of Christ. We long to be the hands and feet of Jesus by bringing concrete acts of grace into the lives of believers and unbelievers alike, shining the light of God's love into the dark corners of our world.

There are also many lost souls around the globe who need know the love of Jesus. We are committed to supporting missions outreach and lifting up passionate believers from within our church whom God has called to this noble work. These who would be missionaries beyond our boarders are an inspiration to us all. God has blessed this obedience and we now have "kids" from our small town impacting lives for Jesus in the uttermost parts of the globe.

We strive to be the church that Jesus envisioned; a living, breathing, loving, grieving body of believers; sharing each other's triumphs, bearing each other's burdens and praising God in all things. The Holy Spirit of the Lord is at work in the hearts of believers, drawing us each to greater faith. He helps us, teaches us, convicts us and comforts us. With love and forgiveness, truth and trust, prayer and encouragement, lives are being changed.

At NUBF, we want to do church God's way ... as He gives us eyes to see it.
